Bexley is about as close to home as it gets. Our base is in Earlwood, Bexley North is the next suburb over, and Bexley itself is a short drive down Bexley Road. Part of our St George service area.
Call 1300 111 007. Open 7am to 6pm, seven days.
Bexley is a suburb of solid brick. The streets off Forest Road and Stoney Creek Road are lined with homes from between the wars and the decades after, plus older walk-up unit blocks along the main roads. Much of the plumbing underneath is fifty years old or more.
Almost every Bexley house built before the 1970s sits on clay sewer pipe. The joints open with age, and roots from street trees and backyard figs follow the moisture in. The drain gurgles, slows, then blocks. We run a CCTV camera down the line, clear the roots with a high-pressure jet blaster and show you the footage. If the pipe is cracked, we can reline it without digging up the driveway. Blocked drains →
Older Bexley homes that were never replumbed still carry water through galvanised pipe. It corrodes from the inside: poor pressure, rusty water after the mains have been off, a damp patch where a pinhole has opened in a wall. We replace it in sections or as a full repipe, opening as little as we can. Burst and leaking pipes →
Most Bexley homes have an external storage tank down the side, often gas, and when it starts weeping from the base it is done. We repair where it makes sense and replace where it does not, with gas, electric or heat pump options. Hot water systems →
A second bathroom or a granny flat puts new fixtures on pipework built for a 1950s family. We check the existing lines first, so the new ensuite does not become a slow drain. Renovation plumbing →
About as close to home as it gets. Bexley North is the next suburb over from our Earlwood base and Bexley itself is a short drive down Bexley Road, so we are in these streets constantly. Plumber Earlwood →
Water comes off the high ground. Bexley sits about 60 metres above sea level, with Forest Road running through it, and Bayside Council's flood studies use Forest Road as one edge of the Spring Street, Muddy Creek and Scarborough Ponds catchments. Rain does not stop at a property line. On streets that fall away from the high ground, a storm brings water off the road and the yards above, and it has to go somewhere. Clear grates, sound pits and a stormwater line that is not choked with silt or roots keep it moving, and when the line stops coping we put a camera through it to see why.
Roots and the point of connection. Big gardens mean big trees, and roots go where the water is. Under Sydney Water's rules the owner looks after the private sewer up to the point where it meets Sydney Water's junction, and roots that get in at that connection are the owner's to clear. A camera inspection settles where the roots are entering, and on whose side of the connection, before anyone talks about digging.
Before the tree comes out. Bayside Council needs a permit before most trees on private land are pruned or removed, with exemptions that include small trees and fruit trees. So it pays to know whether a tree is really the problem. Relining the damaged length of pipe often lets the tree stay.
Not every Bexley home stands alone. At the 2021 Census, 53 per cent of Bexley homes were separate houses, 26 per cent were semi-detached houses, townhouses and similar, and 21 per cent were flats. Older cottages with wrought-iron detailing still stand on streets such as Gladstone Street and Harrow Road, and pairs and townhouses can share one private sewer line before it meets the main, so trouble on one side can show up next door first.
Burst pipe, sewer backing up into the shower, no hot water, a gas smell: ring 1300 111 007, after hours too. After-hours, weekend and emergency call-outs carry a call-out fee, always quoted upfront before we dispatch a plumber.
Upfront fixed price before any work starts. You only pay for the work we do, with no call-out fee in business hours and interest-free Payright options on larger jobs.
Bexley rentals range from the walk-up units along the main roads to family homes leased through local agents. We work with property managers on urgent repairs, routine maintenance and end-of-lease jobs, arrange access with tenants and send a photo report with the invoice. For the older strata blocks, we handle common property sewers, shared hot water and water isolation.
Forest Road's shops run on hot water, gas and drains that cannot stop. We look after cafes, takeaways and shops for blocked drains, grease trap lines, gas fitting and compliance certificates, scheduling around trading hours where we can.

Very prompt response to my initial web contact. The plumber arrived in the arranged time and the service was extremely professional and friendly. Cleaned up after the work finished.
Pink Plumbing provided great service from start to finish. Very professional and friendly, communicated clearly, and completed the job to a high standard. Really impressed.
Nick has helped me with full renovations as well as maintenance. Nothing has ever been a problem. The workmanship, response times and attitude have always been second to none.

No call-out fee in business hours. After-hours, weekend and emergency call-outs carry a call-out fee, always quoted upfront before we dispatch a plumber. Nothing about that changes because you are in one of the unit blocks near the station: the figure is agreed on the phone, before a plumber is sent.
Almost every pre-1970s Bexley house is on a clay sewer, and roots from street trees and backyard figs find the joints. You get a gurgle, then slow drains, then a block. We clear it with the jet blaster, then put the CCTV camera through and show you the footage. Cracked sections get relined, so the garden stays where it is.
A licensed plumber, or an apprentice working under one. We hold NSW plumbing licence 311287C and full insurance, and those details go on the paperwork. Whether it is a Sans Souci house near the Georges River or a Carlton semi behind the shops, the same licensing applies to every job we take on.
Once an external storage tank weeps from the base, the cylinder is gone. We repair where it makes sense and replace where it does not, and a split tank is always a replacement. Bexley hot water usually sits on the side path, often gas, so access is easy. We size the new unit to the house. Upfront fixed price before any work starts.
That is the question to ask first. A second bathroom or a granny flat puts modern demand on pipework built for a 1950s family. We check the existing water lines and the drainage before the slab goes down, so your new ensuite is not a slow drain in a year. You only pay for the work we do. Ring 1300 111 007.
We cover Hurstville, Kogarah, Rockdale, Carlton, Bexley, Kingsgrove, Peakhurst, Mortdale, Sans Souci and Wolli Creek, along with the streets in between. Not sure your suburb counts? Call 1300 111 007 and ask. We also take on larger jobs across greater Sydney when they need a bigger crew.
Usually the owner. Sydney Water owns the junction on its main, but the owner looks after the private sewer up to the point of connection, and that includes clearing roots that get in there. If our camera points to a failed junction, Sydney Water's crew has to check it first, and Sydney Water does not pay for digging it has not approved. So we show you the footage and settle whose pipe it is before any excavation.
Often, yes. Bayside Council requires a permit before most trees on private property are pruned or removed, with exemptions that include small trees and fruit trees. Find out first whether the tree is really the cause. We camera the line, show you where the roots are getting in, and in many cases relining that length clears the problem with the tree left standing.
It can be. Pairs and townhouses sometimes drain through one private line, called a joint service, before it reaches the Sydney Water sewer, and Sydney Water's rules make each owner responsible for a joint service they benefit from. The lower home usually overflows first. We camera the line, mark where the shared length starts and put in writing where the fault is, so both owners work from the same facts.
