This policy explains what personal information we collect through this website and when you deal with us, what we do with it, and how to contact us about it. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

What we collect

When you call us, email us, or use a form on this site, we collect what we need to do the job:

Your name, phone number and email address
The address or suburb where the work is needed
What you tell us about the plumbing problem, including any photos you send
For booked jobs, the details of the work we quote and carry out, and payment details for invoicing
If you apply for Payright finance, Payright collects your application details directly under its own privacy policy; we only see whether the plan was approved

We do not ask for more than we need, and we do not collect sensitive information such as health or financial records.

How the forms on this site work

Every form on this site (the callback card, the instant quote tool and the floating quote button) sends what you type to us in two ways: as an email to our office inbox and as a job record in our job management system, AroFlo, so the plumber who attends has your details. The forms are processed by a form service (Web3Forms) that passes your submission to us and does not sell or use it for its own purposes. Photos you attach go the same way. The forms also record the page you sent them from so we know which service you were looking at.

Why we use your information

To answer your enquiry, quote the work and carry it out
To send you the confirmation, the invoice and any compliance certificates for gas work
To come back and honour the Lifetime Labour Guarantee if there is ever a problem with our work
To keep the records a licensed plumbing business has to keep
To ask you, once, for a Google review after a job. You can ignore that request and nothing changes

We do not sell your information. We do not add you to a marketing list because you asked for a quote.

Who we share it with

The plumber attending your job and our office staff
AroFlo (job management) and our email provider, which store your details on our behalf
Payright, if you choose to pay a larger job off over time and apply for a plan
Our accountant and our insurer, where a job requires it
Anyone the law requires us to share it with

These providers store data in Australia or in overseas data centres run by large providers. We do not send your details to anyone else.

Cookies and analytics

This site uses Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager to count visits, see which pages people use and measure whether our advertising works. Google Ads conversion tracking records when an enquiry comes from an ad. These tools use cookies and similar identifiers. They tell us about traffic in aggregate; they do not tell us your name unless you send a form, and we do not join the two. You can block cookies in your browser and the site still works, including the phone number and the forms. Google's own policy covers how it handles that data: policies.google.com/privacy.

How long we keep it

Job records, quotes and invoices are kept for as long as the law and our warranty obligations require, and then deleted. Enquiries that never become a job are deleted from the job management system after a reasonable period. Emails are kept in our mailbox as ordinary business records.

Security

Your details sit in systems with password protection, on our own devices and with the providers named above. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if we ever find out that your information has been lost or exposed in a way that could harm you.

Your rights

You can ask us at any time what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email info@pinkplumbing.com.au or call 1300 111 007 and we will deal with it within a reasonable time. If you are not happy with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au).
