Pink Plumbing runs the gas, water and drainage behind Sydney outdoor spaces: BBQ gas lines, outdoor kitchens, showers, pool and irrigation connections. It is the outdoor side of our renovation plumbing, every job done or supervised by a licensed plumber, gas work by a licensed gas fitter. Call 1300 111 007 for an itemised quote.

Anything outside that carries gas, water or waste.
Scope, plainly: we do the plumbing and the gas, not the appliances. We do not supply or install BBQs, bar fridges or patio heaters; we run and connect the gas and water they need.
For taps, toilets and everyday jobs, see our general plumbing page.
Yes, we can run natural gas to a BBQ or a built-in burner set. It is licensed gas fitting work, finished with a compliance certificate. A bayonet point suits a freestanding BBQ that plugs in and unplugs; a built-in burner set gets a fixed connection and an isolation valve.
Sizing decides whether it works. A six-burner hood pulls far more gas than a portable BBQ, so we size the pipe on the appliance rating and run length, then check your meter carries the load. Appliances are rated for natural gas or LPG, not both, so a BBQ set up for bottles needs a conversion kit or a different model.
An outdoor sink needs hot and cold water, a trap, and a waste to the sewer, not a stormwater pit or the garden: scraps and grease belong in the sewer. That run usually decides where the kitchen can sit, so settle it before the slab is poured.
Frost is not the Sydney problem. Sun and salt air are, so we protect exposed pipework from UV and specify fittings that survive coastal air. Run the hot line at rough-in: chasing one through finished paving costs far more. Indoors, the same crew does your.
An outdoor shower drains to the sewer, the same as one inside, and needs tempered hot water where the rules require it. The common version is pool-side: hot and cold, a mixer, a floor waste or channel drain, and a waste to sewer.
Outdoor bathrooms and pool-house toilets are bigger: a sewer connection at the right fall, venting and hot water, through the same rough-in and fit-off stages as an indoors. Privacy screening and approvals vary by council, so check yours before you fix a position.
We do the water side: top-up lines, equipment connections and irrigation points with backflow prevention. Top-up is a dedicated line to a float valve, so the pool holds its level through summer. Around the plant we connect the pump, filter and heater.
Backflow prevention is not optional. Any connection to irrigation, pool water or a tank needs the right device for the hazard, so nothing siphons back into drinking water, and testable devices need annual testing. A tank can feed irrigation, garden taps and pool top-up, with a mains switchover for dry months.
New paving and decking change where water goes, so sort drainage before the surface goes down. Extra hose taps are cheapest while the trenches are open.
Paved areas and decks need falls, grates or a channel drain, and a real connection into the existing stormwater, not a pipe that stops under the deck. On older properties stormwater rarely runs where the plan says, so we check first. Paving over an inspection opening becomes a problem the first time a line blocks.
We come in twice: rough-in before the slabs and paving go down, fit-off at the end. At rough-in we lay the gas, water and waste lines, pressure test them and photograph every run before it is covered.
Once there is concrete over a line, moving it means cutting it out, so being in the program early keeps this job cheap. At fit-off we connect the tapware, BBQ, shower and pool equipment, test the lot and issue the gas compliance certificate. Call us when the landscape plan exists, not when the pavers arrive.
No call-out fee in business hours. After-hours, weekend and emergency call-outs carry a call-out fee, always quoted upfront before we dispatch a plumber.
Outdoor work is quoted after a site visit and itemised in writing, so the gas line, the sink waste and the pool connections are separate lines. Upfront fixed price before any work starts. You only pay for the work we do. Interest-free payment through Payright is available on larger jobs. Our Instant Quote tool gives a starting figure on standard plumbing work.

Yes. A tank can feed pool top-up, irrigation and garden taps, with a mains switchover for when it runs dry. Both need backflow prevention, so tank or pool water cannot siphon back into drinking water.
