Oatley sits on the peninsula between Oatley Bay and the Georges River, with Oatley Park at its end and the station on the Illawarra line. The streets run downhill toward the water, which changes how the plumbing behaves. Part of our St George service area.

Oatley keeps a lot of its Federation and interwar housing alongside 1950s and 1960s brick, most of it on sloping blocks under trees that have been there as long as the houses.
Roots in old lines under old trees. A big leafy Oatley block means a long sewer run and mature roots above it. Earthenware pipe joints are the way in. We camera the line, jet the roots out and reline the failed section so the lawn and the trees both stay where they are. More on blocked drains.
Stormwater on a slope. Homes on the fall toward Oatley Bay take stormwater from the properties above them. Undersized or broken downpipe lines show up as water against the house rather than in the yard. We trace where it actually goes before we quote a fix.
Leaks you cannot see. Older Oatley homes mix original pipework with decades of additions. A slow leak under a slab or a suspended floor shows up as a bill, a damp smell or a warm patch. We pinpoint it with acoustic, thermal and pressure testing before cutting anything. See leak detection.
Renovations onto original pipe. Oatley renovates rather than rebuilds. A new bathroom on original pipework gives you low pressure, slow drains or a damp patch behind fresh tiles. We tell you what needs replacing before the tiler starts, not after.
Closer to the bay, salt in the air is hard on brass fittings, outdoor taps and hot water tanks, and blocks below the road often need pumped waste rather than gravity. Both are normal work for us, and both are worth knowing about before you buy a system that will not last.
Burst pipe, sewer backing up into the shower, no hot water, a gas smell: ring 1300 111 007, after hours too. After-hours, weekend and emergency call-outs carry a call-out fee, always quoted upfront before we dispatch a plumber.
Upfront fixed price before any work starts. You only pay for the work we do, with no call-out fee in business hours and interest-free Payright options on larger jobs.

Very prompt response to my initial web contact. The plumber arrived in the arranged time and the service was extremely professional and friendly. Cleaned up after the work finished.
Pink Plumbing provided great service from start to finish. Very professional and friendly, communicated clearly, and completed the job to a high standard. Really impressed.
Nick has helped me with full renovations as well as maintenance. Nothing has ever been a problem. The workmanship, response times and attitude have always been second to none.

Questions
With a look, not a quote. We camera the sewer, pressure test the water and check the hot water and gas, then give you a staged plan: what is urgent, what can wait, and a fixed price for each stage. Nothing is replaced for the sake of it.
In most cases yes. If the CCTV shows the pipe is broken but still holding its shape, relining cures a new pipe inside the old one through existing access. It is the usual answer on an established Oatley block.
No call-out fee in business hours. After-hours, weekend and emergency call-outs carry a call-out fee, always quoted upfront before we dispatch a plumber.
On a sloping Oatley block that is usually stormwater, not sewer. A cracked or undersized downpipe line, or one that was never connected properly, sends water at the footings. We trace it and show you where it goes.
Relining does that. We cut the roots out with a jet blaster, camera the line and reline the damaged length so the joints the roots were using are sealed. No trench through the garden.
Yes. Awkward access is normal in Oatley and we bring the gear for it. We measure the spot, pick a gas, electric or heat pump unit that fits, and replace it where it sits or move it somewhere kinder if that is the better job.
